About this event

THIS TALK IS NOW FULLY BOOKED - but there are still tickets available for the same talk on 8 May at the Science Museum in TST.

David writes: Since my first post back in 2006 (air-raid tunnels!), the Gwulo website has grown to over 50,000 pages about the history of Hong Kong's people and places, including over 35,000 photos. I'm relocating to the UK in July to be closer to family, but before I leave I've prepared a final talk to show some of my favourite photos from my collection, and share some of the touching stories that Gwulo has been part of.

We've booked two dates to give the talk: 8 May in Kowloon, and 22 May on Hong Kong Island. Both venues have theatre-style seating and high-resolution projectors, to show off the details in the old photos at their best.

As you book tickets you also have the option to order my books at special prices. Once we receive a book order we'll be in touch to check whether you'd rather we mail the books to you, or you'd like to collect them at the talk.

I'm looking forward to seeing you in May.
